2015 - 2016

  • Making the campus Wi-Fi enabled.
  • Providing internet connectivity to Departments.

  • To obtain feedback from the students on teachers by re-designing feedback forms

  • To organize a workshop by the department of chemistry with the collaboration of BARC
  • To strengthen the student / teacher quality so that the institution wins more prizes in the academic festival –yuvatharangam.

  • To conduct short term computer oriented training to the teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • To encourage minor and major Research projects under DST and UGC in Arts and Humanities also besides the existing 5 projects in Science departments.
  • To organize more guest lectures on various topics and on occasions like Science day, International women's day etc to inculcate value systems & personality development in students. To organize an Almuni meet in June 2014 to plan for the celebration of the completion of 160 years of establishment of the college with funds already generated by the alumni to a tune of 25 lacks.
  • To organize District level cultural meets and sports meets.
  • To organize Voluntary Blood donation camps, Free eye testing camps, mass tree plantation programmes etc with the 5 NSS units, NCC, Red Ribbon Club, and Social Service League.

2013 - 2014

  • To make IQAC paper free.
  • All the circulars/ formats to be sent to various departments through a separate mail of IQAC – iqacgcrjy@gmail.com
  • To conduct national seminar by the department of physics
  • To organize a summer refresher course with the collaboration of IISC Bangalore in the department of physics.
  • Strengthen the departments for the annual academic audit.
  • To strengthen alumni association and organize an old students meet in the month of November.
  • To conduct Field Trips, Study Tours and Guest Lecturers.
  • To start a certificate course in dance.
  • To organize Job fairs twice every semester by establishing liaison with industry to provide more placements to students
  • To establish MOUs and linkages with the industry and various research organizations to enhance research activities in the college.

2012 - 2013

  • To celebrate Maths Day in connection with the Birthday Celebrations of the greatest Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan by department of Mathematics.
  • To train the newly recruited English Lecturers in the state under ELF Program.
  • To conduct an outreach workshop to all the lecturers of the other departments in the college on the Communicative method of teaching.
  • The Department of English proposes to collaborate with AKNU, local Junior and Degree colleges besides the engineering colleges in improving Communication Skills among the students. There was an exchange of guest lecturers.
  • The Alumni Association of the college proposes to contact all the old students living at various places in India and abroad to raise funds for the construction of an open auditorium.
  • All the Departments plan to conduct Field Trips, Study Tours and Guest Lecturers as proposed in the previous year.
  • The Department of Hindi proposes to conduct a National Seminar.
  • The NSS, NCC, Red Ribbon Club propose to conduct various activities such as Blood Donation Camp, Rallies, Rural Sensitization Programs, Literacy Programs etc. as planned earlier.
  • The Department of Physics proposes to construct an e-classroom for facilitating the ICT based teaching at the UG and PG levels.
  • Proposed to set up UV WATER FILTERING UNIT in the college with the assistance of the APPM.

2011 - 2012

  • To establish Research Center in Dept. of Physics
  • To get the Research Centre of the department of Physics recognized by ANDHRA UNIVERSITY
  • To start Special Training Program (STP), a unique program initiated by the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education for training the students for various entrance examinations and competitive examinations.
  • To organize extension lectures in different verticals and horizontals by inviting scholars, professors and other specialists in the field of Higher Education for the benefit of students.
  • To undertake the UGC sponsored Minor Research Projects.
  • To start The Website www.govtcollegerjy.org to provide information regarding the history of the college, celebrities among the alumni, infrastructure available, admissions, fee structure, curriculum, examination pattern, faculty and their qualifications, results, scholarships offered, Academic Calendar etc.
  • To organize Yuva Kala Hela, a District Level 2 day cultural festival
  • To organize activities like Elocution, Essay Writing Greeting Card Preparation and Rangoli for girl students by the Women Empowerment Cell
  • To organize extension Lectures on Opportunities for Women by the Women Empowerment Cell
  • To celebrate various days of importance.

2010 - 2011

  • To propose the following programs to the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education for coordinating the efforts of various members of the faculty of the Institution and different agencies of the District Administration to benefit the students and the Institution.
    • Special Training Program.
    • Intensive Remedial Coaching.
  • New papers to be introduced for all I and II year UG students.
  • Practical Component to be introduced for internal assessment.
  • Interdisciplinary programs to be introduced
  • Modalities for eligibility to take Instant examination to be finalized.
  • To encourage Departments to conduct more number of Seminars and Workshops.
  • To encourage members of the faculty to take up UGC Research Projects.
  • To encourage the Departments to set up Research Laboratories and promote research by admitting Research Scholars for M.Phil and Ph.D.
  • To generate more funds through internal resource.
  • To increase the Library services by purchasing more number of books and equipment with UGC funds.
  • To complete the new PG block under construction.
  • To train and encourage the participation of NCC Cadets in the National events.
  • To provide more placements by organizing Campus Drives.
  • To encourage student participation in academic programs like Summer Research Projects
  • To organize District Level Cultural Meets.

2009 - 2010

  • To start PG classes in the newly constructed building.
  • To request the District Collector to provide cots, mattresses and furniture in the newly constructed girls' hostel.
  • To request philanthropists of the town to donate the kitchenware required for the newly constructed girls' hostel.
  • To organize District level cultural meets.
  • To organize at least 2 Job fairs every semester.
  • To conduct national seminars, workshops.
  • To organize guest lectures.
  • To organize Field visits.
  • To participate in Community Service with the help of NSS, NCC and Red ribbon clubs.
