Ramanujan's Birth Anniversary Celebrated at Government Autonomous College

The Government Autonomous College celebrated the birth anniversary of legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan with great enthusiasm. The event was jointly organized by the Mathematics Department, Mathematics Club, and the Alumni Association.
Principal Prof. Ramachandra inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp and highlighted the historical significance of Ramanujan's contributions to mathematics and their enduring legacy at the college.
Distinguished speakers included retired professors M Venkata Rao, Bapeswara Rao, and Viswanatha Raju, who delivered inspiring speeches about Ramanujan's unparalleled achievements in mathematics. The Alumni Association was well-represented by its leadership President: Mulla Madhav
Vice-President: Bhargav, General Secretary: G Sudhakar.
The celebration featured tributes, speeches, and reflections on Ramanujan's extraordinary contributions to mathematics. Shiva served as the anchor, providing insightful commentary throughout the program. Former students and retired mathematics professors attended the event to pay homage to the mathematical genius.
The event successfully brought together current students, alumni, and faculty, inspiring them with Ramanujan's mathematical legacy and its continuing influence on future generations of mathematicians.
