Establishment of IQAC in the college took place as a post accreditation measure to ensure quality up-gradation and sustenance in academic and administrative matters on 14 July, 2004.IQAC takes appropriate measures to channelize the efforts of the college to address the issues raised in the earlier cycle to achieve academic excellence. The specific focus of the IQAC is to imbibe feedback from stakeholders for taking corrective measures to ensure quality sustenance and enhancement in the college.
The impetus efforts of IQAC since 2004 resulted in
- Sustaining the Autonomy status since 2000. The college is in 4 cycle of autonomy.
- Accreditation of the College with 'A+' Grade (CGPA 3.38) in the Third cycle.
- Obtaining the status of College with Potential for Excellence (CPE-2016).
- Obtaining DST-FIST funds (2016)
- Identification for up-gradation of college to university under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA).
- Of late acquiring autonomy for PG Programmes (2018).
