On 29th August 2024, Government (A) College, Rajahmundry, celebrated National Sports Day with a tribute to hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand. The event began with Principal Dr. Ramachandra R.K. garlanding Dhyan Chand’s photo and speaking on his inspiring legacy. Various sports events for students and faculty, including badminton and relay races, followed. The celebrations concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where participants were honored for their efforts.
