Whiteclay,ochres,Rajahmundry sandstone (middle Miocene).These formations areunderlain by coarse grained gravel.There are many ceramic factories at andaround Bommuru area.The main raw material used in this factory is ceramic clayalong with white clay( Ball clay).Gravel is used as road material.
