The place of  field trip in saidhapuram is nearly 30km toKalichedu, that is Gudem of Nellore district. Here we observed the RhombohedralGarnet verity  in the open cast mine.Here the exploitation is essentially by manual mean by digging small pile andrecovering the Garnet –bearing rock from which the Garnet crystals are hand-picked.
