Introduction

   Dr. D. Sanjeev Kumar has joined in the department of Physics as an Asst. Professor/ lecturer in June 2018. He has completed his undergraduate program from P. B. Siddhartha College, Vijayawada, AP and obtained degree from Acharya Nagarjuna University in the year 2003. He did his Masters degree in Physics from this department during 2003-05 and obtained degree from Andhra University.

    Later he served one year (2005-06) as Lecturer in Physics for B.Sc. and M.Sc. at KVR, KVR and MKR College, Khazipalem, Guntur (Dt.), AP where one of his students got University top score in Quantum Mechanics, the subject he taught.

   He received his M.Tech. in Computational Techniques in Physics from University of Hyderabad in 2008. He was awarded Ph.D. in Physics from University of Hyderabad in 2017.

    He got qualified in GATE-PH and CSIR-NET. He was a UGC-BSR JRF and SRF during his Doctoral program at University of Hyderabad. He served as a student volunteer of network admin for 7 years at School of Physics, University of Hyderabad and also was associated with the establishment of Work stations and simulations labs there in.

   He has completed Cambridge Professional Development course for teachers of O level, A & AS levels in Physics. He woked as lecturer in Physics at Vignan Institute of Technology and Sciences, Hyderabad, Affiliated to JNTUH from 2016-2018.  There he worked on Student micro projects related to Arduino based IoT Applications.

  

Areas of Research

    His areas of interest are First principle Simulations using Quantum Espresso, Quantum dots analytical studies, Electronics for IoT applications and energy harvesting.

Seminars And Events Participated

He is one of the authors of 1st Semester BSc Physics text book "Mechanics, Waves and Oscillations" published by Andhrapradesh State Council of Higher Education.

He has also authored "Solar Energy" a textbook for Skill Development course for BSc students, published by Pragati Prakashan, Meerut.

At present he is working on "Optics", 2nd Semester BSc Physics textbook for APSCHE and "Solar Energy Applications" A Skill Enhancement Course for BSc Physics by Pragati Prakashan Publishers, Meerut.
