Government College (Autonomous), Rajahmundry, established in 1851 and accredited with A+ Grade
by NAAC (CGPA 3.38/4.00), has always been at the forefront of promoting higher education among
students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. As part of its Best Practices, the Department of
Mathematics organized a Free Coaching Programme for AP ICET-2025 (Andhra Pradesh Integrated
Common Entrance Test) and APPGCET-2025, enabling third-year UG students across Andhra
Pradesh to prepare effectively for these competitive examinations without any financial burden.
The programme was widely publicized through local Telugu newspapers – Eenadu (East Godavari
edition, dated 21 April 2025) and Sakshi (East Godavari edition, dated 21 April 2025) – both of which
carried prominent news articles with photographs of the inauguration. The principal, Dr. Ramachandra
R.K., officially announced the commencement of the programme, emphasizing the college's dedication
to student welfare and academic excellence
