In connection with National Science Day, the Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the Maths Club, organized a Talent Test for all Undergraduate Science students. The event was aimed at encouraging analytical thinking and fostering interest in mathematics among young learners.
The Talent Test witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various science streams. The winners of the competition were felicitated by Sri G. Chandra Sekhar, Head of the Department of Mathematics, in a prize distribution ceremony held on February 19, 2025.
The event was a great success, reflecting the department’s commitment to promoting academic excellence and celebrating scientific spirit.
Niel’s Henrik Abel’s Birthday Celebrations On the occasion of Abel's Birthday Celebrations, the Dept. of Mathematics and Mat Club jointly organized a guest Lecture by Mahalakshmi Naidu on "Power Series of Ordinary Differential Equations."
