The Department of Microbiology participated in Hi-Glow programme which intended to create scientific temper and experimental knowledge to the students of Government High schools near Rajahmundry. On 21-07-2025 Department of microbiology along with Zoology department of our college attended Z.P. High School, Kotikesavaram, Korukonda Mandal Students of Final year Microbiology Honours along with one faculty (Dr.T.Sujatha) interacted with 8th and 9th class students and gave demonstrations on the Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cell structure, General characters of Bacteria and Viruses.
On 17-10-2025 Department of microbiology attended Danavai Peta Municipal High School,Rajahmundry. Sudents of second year Microbiology Honours along with one faculty (Dr.T.Sujatha) interacted with 8th and 9th class students and gave demonstrations on the Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cell structure, General characters of Bacteria and Viruses. They also explained about various Microorganisms and visualised the permanent specimen slides under microscope. They have focussed slides which includes Spirogyra, Anabena, Euglena, Paramecium, Yeast, Hydra, Rhizopus , Volvax and Amoeba.
