On the occasion of Abel's Birthday, the Department of Mathematics & Maths Club in association with the
Department of Computer Science organized 'TALENT HUNT USING AI' to students of 8th, 9th, and 10th
classes from nearby schools. The activity aimed to:
• Celebrate the birthday of the great mathematician Niels Henrik Abel and inspire students
through his life and work.
• Introduce students to the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of Mathematics and
general knowledge.
• Develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills through an engaging
online quiz format.
• Foster interest in Mathematics and technology among school students.
• Encourage inter-school participation and healthy academic competition.
• Bridge the gap between school-level curriculum and cutting-edge technology like AI.

Outcome:
The event was conducted successfully and yielded the following outcomes:
• Approximately 125 students from 4 nearby schools actively participated in the Talent Hunt Using
AI.
• Students gained awareness about Niels Henrik Abel's monumental contributions to
mathematics.
• Students were introduced to the emerging field of Artificial Intelligence and its integration with
academics.
• The online quiz format enhanced digital literacy and competitive spirit among young learners.

Niel’s Henrik Abel’s Birthday Celebrations On the occasion of Abel's Birthday Celebrations, the Dept. of Mathematics and Mat Club jointly organized a guest Lecture by Mahalakshmi Naidu on "Power Series of Ordinary Differential Equations."
