The Department of Mathematics, Government College (Autonomous), Rajahmundry, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Ramanujan’s Life & His Contributions Towards Number Theory” on 22nd December, in celebration of Srinivasa Ramanujan’s birthday. The lecture was delivered by Dr. T. Eswarlal, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, KL University, Guntur, through Google Meet. The session was attended by UG and PG students along with faculty members, who actively participated and appreciated the insights shared on Ramanujan's mathematical legacy. The program began with opening remarks by Dr. R. David Kumar Swamy, Principal, followed by a prayer song by D.V.N.S. Murthy. The event also included an address by A. Swathi, prize distribution, and closing acknowledgments by the organizing team led by Dr. Ch. Srinivasulu, HOD of Mathematics. The session was both informative and inspiring, highlighting the brilliance and impact of Ramanujan’s contributions to mathematics.
