Department of History&Tourism celebrated in Government
College (A)Rajahmundry Dt:04-07-2025 under the supervision of Principal Dr. Ramachandra R. K, the birth anniversary celebrations of Tanguturi Prakasam were held under the auspicious of the History and Tourism. In this, the Head of the college spoke about the History and greateness of Tanguturi Prakasam , following the next talk by Lecturer in charge Dr.B.Anjani kumari and his achievements .he became the first Chief Minister of Andhra Satate. In this program Dr. B. Anjani Kumari, Smt. P. Tulasi Kumari ,Sri. K.vara Prasad, and all History stdents participated.

Students gained deeper knowledge about Tanguturi Prakasam Panthulu’s role in India’s independence movement, especially his fearless leadership during the Simon Commission protests (1928).
✅ 2. Inspiration from His Courage and Integrity
The celebration helped students understand Prakasam’s qualities such as:bravery (“Andhra Kesari”)
