The Department of Social Work and political science have jointly organised a seminar is on "FROM SCREEN TIME TO GREEN TIME" in the seminar hall on 16th March 2026. To raise awareness among students regarding a healthy lifestyle and have responsibility on environment The program focused on encouraging students to reduce excessive screen usage and spend more time in nature and surroundings of every student to foster better physical and mental health.

Outcome:

Miss siva Priya highlighted the significance of balanced technology usage and effective time management in the lives of students. She emphasized that spending time in natural surroundings improves concentration, reduces stress, and promotes a healthy lifestyle. She also highlighted the importance of protecting the natural environment and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits.
