Republic Day Celebration - 2025
To commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and to instill a sense of patriotism, unity, and constitutional values among students.
Description of the Activity:
The Department of History celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 26th January 2025. The program witnessed active participation from students and teaching staff.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Faculty members addressed the gathering, explaining the historical significance of Republic Day and the importance of the Constitution in shaping democratic India.
Various activities were organized as part of the celebration:
Speech Competition:
Students delivered speeches on themes like constitutional values, fundamental rights, and duties.
Essay Writing:
Participants expressed their thoughts on democracy, unity in diversity, and the importance of responsible citizenship.

A quiz on Indian history, freedom struggle, and constitutional facts was conducted.
