The Department of Social Work and Women Empowerment have jointly organized National Girl Child Day on 23-01-2026. Mr. Bilawath Dhenuka Naik Master of Social Work TATA Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai has delivered lecture on "Girl Education and Girl Empowerment". He has conducted small Activity to create awareness Girl Challenges and their Rights. And also Competitions has been conducted on the Theme of "Save Girl Child and Educate The Girl Child".
