Under the directions of honorable principal Dr. Ramachandra R.K.; department of Telugu Government College autonomous Rajamahendravaram has conducted the program namely Students Induction Program on 12-08-2024. In this context the principal has given a message to the stakeholders about the Importance of UG level knoweledgfe system. In this program the department In charge Dr. P. A. Satyanarayana has introduced to the students about the fruits by the education. The Govt. College, Rajamahendravaram is established in the year 1853 as High School and upgraded to Degree college in 1876 This institution is at first affiliated to Madras University. Later after the Establishment of the Andhra University, this college has been under affiliation of Andhra University From 2012 this prestigious institution is affiliated to Adikavi Nannayya University, Rajahmundry. Everybody who speaks Telugu knew that Rajahmundry is the birth place of Telugu Kavya Literature i.e. Telugu Adikavyam Andhra Mahabharata by the Adikavi Nannayya. Many centuries, Rajahmundry is the Cultural Capital and the traditional is being carried out from Nannayya till today. Many Telugu poets visited the river Godavari or resided on the banks of this holy river. Kavi sarvabhouma srinadha the great Telugu poet resided and wrote "Bhimakanda" related to Andhra Pradesh. In this occasion Dr P.A. Satyanarayana, Dr. B. Subbalakshmi, Sk. Jareena, Dr. S. Priskilla, P. Jagajjeevan, Dr.P. Sivajee, D. Raju, K.M. Soundarya, Dr. K. Prema Kumari, A.S.S. Siva, T. Revathi have participated.
