Principal Dr. Ramachandra exhorts students to draw inspiration from Premchand’s life and works
Rajahmundry, July 31: The Hindi Department of Government Autonomous College, Rajahmundry, grandly celebrated the birth anniversary of the eminent Hindi and Urdu writer, Munshi Premchand. Presiding over the event, College Principal Dr. Ramachandra R.K. lauded Premchand as a revolutionary poet and a great social writer who influenced many with his pen. He encouraged students to draw inspiration from Premchand’s life and works.
Addressing the gathering, Head of the Hindi Department Mrs. Sheikh Zareena Begum highlighted Premchand’s literary contributions and the significance of his stories. Dr. K. Gautam, a faculty member of the Hindi Department, elaborated on how Premchand awakened society through his writings.
On this occasion, prizes were awarded by the Principal to students who won the elocution and poetry recitation competitions. The event witnessed active participation from other faculty members and students, making it a memorable celebration.
