As part of curriculum II. B.Sc. Organic Farming course students were taken to the ORGANIC FARMING MANNURE PREPARATION INDUSTRY, DOSAKAYALA PALLI. Department in charge Dr. A Srinivas Rao and Smt. M. V. V. Satyaveni, Asst. Prof. of Botany guided the students in the field trip. The purpose of the field is to show the importance of organic farming and the improvement of the soil health by using organic manures. Students were enriched with the knowledge about the preparation of organic farming requirements including soil health, bio pesticides, maintenance of crops, enhancement of the crop yield and importance of agrobiodiversity.

Outcome:
In this field visit, the students were participated in hands on training and learned about the production of GHANA JEEVAMRUTHAM, DRAVA JEEVAMRUTHAM, PUNCHA KAVYA etc., and the students were noticed the importance and application of organic manures to the soil.
Feedback:
Students realized that how to rejuvenate the agriculture during these day’s by using healthy organic farming practices and how to adopt the techniques of organic farming from the skilled professionals of the unit.
