A Two-day workshop on basic genomics and bioinformatics for the faculties and students of biosciences was organized in Government College(A), Rajahmundry in collaboration with Bio-Kart India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. In this workshop the resource persons, Ankit Kumari and Biswas from Bio-Kart India PVT Ltd. delivered theoretical modules and hands on training sessions for students and staff in advanced genomics.

Outcome:
The sessions enlightened the latest advancements in Genomics and the students and staff trained to conduct this advanced research techniques by using local institutional CIL labs available in the college and also facilitated to undergo an MOU with the Bio-Kart India Pvt. Ltd. and the Life-science departments of the college to collaborate in future activities.
Feedback:
The students and staff acquainted the knowledge and skills and utilizing local available lab facilities through this training and felt happy to out their research activities locally in advanced genomics.
