Introduction
The Department of Philosophy successfully conducted the Second Edition of the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Annual Memorial Lecture Series. The lecture aimed to highlight the enduring relevance of India’s ethical wisdom traditions and their application in contemporary educational and social contexts.
Inaugural Session
The program commenced with the lighting of the torch by the Chief Speaker and the Principal, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge. The Principal delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the importance of rediscovering Indian wisdom and the moral values embedded in ancient texts like the Panchatantra. He noted how these teachings help shape responsible individuals and value-based citizens.
Keynote Lecture by Dr. Bharat Dash
Dr. Bharat Dash delivered an enlightening and thought-provoking lecture that offered:
* Deep insights into Nitishastra, the traditional science of ethics and policy.
