Introduction
Government College (Autonomous), Rajahmundry conducted the Daksharambam Orientation Programme from 6th October 2025 to 10th October 2025. The programme aimed to introduce students to the academic environment, institutional values, and various support systems available in the college. It was designed to help new students adapt to college life and understand the expectations of their chosen courses.

Programme Highlights
Throughout the five-day schedule, several informative and interactive sessions were organized.
Inaugural Session:
The Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the college’s vision, mission, and academic excellence.
* Academic Orientation: HoDs and faculty members explained the syllabus structure, credit system, internal assessment rules, and examination format.
* Guest Lectures: Eminent guest lecturers delivered motivational talks, career guidance, and subject-specific insights to enrich students’ understanding.
* Campus Facilities Introduction: Students were oriented about library services, laboratories, NSS, NCC, sports, and support services.
* Skill Development Sessions: Workshops on communication skills, personality development, and time management were conducted.
* Cultural Interaction: Students participated in ice-breaking activities and cultural interactions to build confidence and teamwork.
* Yoga: Students participated in Yoga session which were Conducted on the college campus under the guidance of Trained Instructors.

Conclusion
