PROGRAM REPORT
**Two-Day Student Workshop on Youth Leadership**
**Organized by:** Department of Philosophy, Government College (A), Rajamahendravaram
**In Collaboration with:** Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari (Telugu Pranta)
**Dates:** 27 & 28 November 2025
1. Introduction
The primary objective of this workshop was to inculcate leadership qualities, discipline, teamwork, moral responsibility, and a patriotic spirit among students. The event aligned with the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, focusing on developing youth as strong pillars of the nation.
2. Day 1 Activities (27 November 2025)
2.1 Inaugural Session
The workshop commenced with a traditional lighting of the lamp by Vice Principal Dr. Srirama Murthy and Department In-charge Dr. K. Saitamahalakshmi.
2.2 Outdoor Leadership Activities
A series of outdoor games and activities focused on:
Improving concentration
Developing confidentiality and trust
Enhancing teamwork and collaboration
Building physical fitness and alertness
Learning leadership through experiential tasks
2.3 Interactive Session & Group Discussions
An interactive session was organized on the theme **"Life Goals with a Patriotic Perspective"**. Discussions focused on youth responsibilities, national development, self-discipline, and moral leadership. At the end of Day 1, students shared feedback highlighting benefits such as improved focus and team spirit.
Day 2 Activities (28 November 2025)
3.1 Motivational Talk
Chief guest speaker Sri Lingamaneni Rajesh from Vivekananda Kendra, Vijayawada, delivered an inspiring lecture on:
Self-Confidence
Selfless Practice
Devotion
Indian Traditions & Values
3.2 Group Discussions
Students were divided into groups to discuss the preservation of Indian cultural values and the relevance of traditional ethics in modern leadership.
4. Participation
The session was attended by principal Dr. K. Ramachandra Rao, faculty members, and members from Vivekananda Kendra. Students from the following departments participated actively:

Physics
5. Conclusion
The workshop concluded successfully with students expressing that the experience boosted their self-confidence and provided clarity regarding their life goals. The Department of Philosophy and Vivekananda Kendra jointly created a meaningful environment for holistic development rooted in Indian cultural and moral values.
