On 23rd August 2024, the Department of Physics and Electronics celebrated Space Day in the Physics e-Classroom at 11:00 AM. The event began with the Head of the Department (HOD) addressing the gathering, highlighting the significance of Space Day and recounting major achievements in space exploration by India and globally. Following the address, a quiz on "Space Exploration, both globally and in the context of India" was conducted, featuring five rounds with five teams: Mangalyaan (III MPCs 7), Chandrayaan 1 (II MSc), Chandrayaan 2 (I Electronics), Chandrayaan 3 (I Mat.Sci and REM), and Aditya L1 (I Physics). Team Mangalyaan secured the first place, while Chandrayaan 2 took second place. Prizes were distributed to the winners to conclude the event
