The Department of Physics, participated in the “Atoms in the Service of the Nation” science exhibition organized by the Department of Physics, PB Siddhartha College, Vijayawada, from 8–12 September 2025, in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR). As part of this five-day event, which marked the college’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, students explored India’s advancements in nuclear science and technology through live models, informative charts, interactive panels, and guidance from IGCAR scientists. A total of 35 UG and PG students visited the exhibition on 11 September 2025. In the evening, faculty accompanied the students to the Statue of Social Justice (Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Smriti Vanam), a 206-ft monument in Vijayawada, where students had the opportunity to view the exhibits depicting Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s life and contributions. The visit served as a powerful source of inspiration, enriching the students’ academic understanding and social awareness.
