The Department of Physics organized a guest lecture by Dr. K. Ephraim Babu on January 7, 2024. The lecture focused on the classification of nuclear particles and provided valuable tips for understanding basic physics concepts. The event was well-attended by students and faculty members. Dr. Babu began the lecture by discussing the fundamental constituents of matter and the structure of the nucleus. He explained the classification of nuclear particles, which include hadrons and Leptons. He provided several tips for easily memorizing the classification of nuclear particles by the use of mnemonics, Visual aids and Conceptual understanding.In the second part of the lecture, sir shared valuable tips for understanding basic physics concepts
