As part of the practical exposure and field extension for the Organic Farming students, a field visit was organized to provide hands-on training and understanding of organic cultivation practices, intercropping systems, and integrated farm management under real field conditions at Mullapudi Muralikrishna’s Organic Farm and Nursery, Kalavalapalli Village and Horticultural Research Station, Kovvur.

Outcome:
The field visit provided the students with practical exposure to real-world organic farming systems, complementing their classroom knowledge.
Feedback:
The students were particularly impressed by the innovative, low-cost practices adopted by the farmers at Mullapudi Muralikrishna’s Organic Farm and Nursery, Kalavalapalli Village and appreciated the interaction with research scientists at HRS Kovvur. The visit encouraged critical thinking about integrating traditional practices with scientific principles in sustainable farming.
