An open lab day was organized by the department of Botany in connection with National Science Day on 26th February 2026 to create awareness and enhance scientific temper among younger minds, in this connection conducted various competitions and scientific exhibits with the theme of "Women in Science" and Indian Knowledge System (IKS) by involving the students.

Outcome:
Through this scientific awareness activity around 300 students from various schools and colleges were visited and actively took part in the thought-provoking science phenomenon.

The younger students show curiosity to grasp the various scientific phenomenon incorporated in the live demonstrations and exhibits.
