The Department of Physics and Electronics celebrated CV Raman’s 136th birth anniversary on November 7, 2024. The event included a tribute at the CV Raman statue, speeches by faculty members, and a talk on his life and work by Sri H Sudhakhar. Dr. B Gowri Naidu, inspired the audience with a speech on Raman's journey. Prizes were awarded to winners of a physics quiz and experimental skills test on the hands of Head of the department Smt. Ch. Komala Lakshmi. The event concluded with the national anthem
