The Department of Physics and Electronics marked the anniversary of Sir Isaac Newton's birth with a dedicated gathering, acknowledging his profound impact on scientific understanding. The focus of the event was to celebrate the extraordinary contributions of this pivotal figure, whose insights fundamentally shaped our comprehension of the physical world, particularly the force of gravity. The faculty members of the physics department delivered a few motivational addresses. They also recounted Newton's landmark discoveries, with particular emphasis on his groundbreaking formulation of the law of universal gravitation. Some students took the opportunity to share their personal reflections, expressing how Newton's life and work had served as a source of inspiration for them. The commemoration fostered a sense of community and shared purpose within the department, reinforcing the values of intellectual curiosity and dedication to scientific inquiry.
