As part of my commitment to promoting education and empowerment among rural girl students of class 8 and class 9, Dr B Prathima conducted a Career Guidance and Motivation Session at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Orvakal, Kurnool. The objective of this outreach program was to inspire young girls to continue their education beyond school and to make informed choices about their academic and professional futures.

Outcome:

Interactive discussions and motivational activity were conducted to help students identify their strengths and interests. Real-life examples of successful women professionals from different fields were shared to instil aspiration and determination.

Feedback:

This initiative received positive feedback from the school staff and students, who expressed renewed enthusiasm for continuing their education. The program thus contributed significantly to promoting educational awareness, self-belief, and empowerment among rural girl students — aligning with the broader goals of Education and Nation Building.
