Field visits play a crucial role in enhancing experiential learning among management students. With this objective, I BBA (Honours) students were taken on an educational field visit to Adikavi Nannaya University on 24 January 2026. The visit aimed to familiarise students with university infrastructure, academic programs, and administrative systems. It also intended to inspire students to plan their future academic and professional goals effectively.

Outcome:

The field visit significantly contributed to experiential learning among students. It enhanced their understanding of how universities function beyond classroom teaching, including academic planning, administration, and student support systems. Students were able to connect theoretical concepts learned in subjects like management, communication, and organizational behavior with real-world institutional practices. The visit also increased their awareness of higher education opportunities, various courses available, and career pathways. Furthermore, the interaction and exposure motivated students to set clear academic goals and develop a more serious outlook towards their future studies. It also improved their observation, inquiry, and analytical skills.

Feedback:

The overall feedback from students was highly positive. They expressed that the visit was both informative and inspiring, as it provided them with firsthand exposure to a university environment. Many students mentioned that the campus facilities and academic atmosphere motivated them to aim for higher education. The interactive sessions with university representatives were particularly appreciated, as they helped clarify doubts related to courses, admissions, and career prospects. Students also highlighted that such field visits break routine classroom learning and make education more engaging and practical. They expressed interest in participating in more such academic visits in the future.
