The Department of English has organised field trip - "City Cultural Study Tour" in the Rajahmundry City, which is considered the 'Cultural Capital of Andhra Pradesh". The tour was organised for two days - covering 1. Damerla Ramarao Art Gallery; 2. Gouthami Granthalayam; 3. Kandukuri Town Hall; 4. Kandukuri Swagruham and statues on the Godavari Bund.

1. Building awareness among the students on the cultural significance of Rajahmundry and Andhra Pradesh
2. To bring awareness about great Social reformer and writer Sri Kandukuri Vweresalingam Pantulu
3. To provide glimpses of history of Rajahmundry town
4. To create academic interest through visit to public library
5. To appreciate the art forms beside literature
