REPORT ON NATIONAL CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATIONS

Department of Political Science
The Department of Political Science, Government (A) College, Rajahmundry, organized the National Constitution Day Celebrations with great enthusiasm and academic spirit. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the values, principles, and significance of the Indian Constitution.
The event was graced by Vice Principal Murty Garu, Incharge Madam Dr. Sitamahalakshmi Garu, Faculty Member S.Fara Yasroon Garu, and other distinguished faculty members of the department. Several Heads of other Departments also attended the celebrations and extended their support.
Students of the Political Science Department actively participated in various activities. A special Role Play was performed by the students, showcasing the importance of constitutional rights, duties, and the vision of the framers of the Constitution. Their performance highlighted key themes such as justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
The Department of Political Science, Government College (A), Rajahmundry, successfully conducted Essay Writing, Elocution, and Quiz competitions for students. The programme was organized to encourage academic excellence, communication skills, and competitive spirit among the participants.
A large number of students actively participated in all three events. The competitions provided a platform for students to showcase their writing abilities, oratory skills, and general knowledge in the field of Political Science and related areas.
Faculty members from the department supervised the events and ensured smooth conduct of the programme. The participation of enthusiastic students made the event meaningful and successful.
The Department appreciated the efforts of all participants and announced that certificates would be distributed to the winners and participants.
The faculty members addressed the gathering and stressed the relevance of the Constitution in contemporary society. They encouraged students to uphold constitutional values and contribute to nation-building.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty, and students for making the event a success.
