The Department of Social Work and Political Science, Government College (Autonomous), Rajahmundry, organized a Guest Lecture at the Ambedkar Seminar Hall on the topic “Screen Time to Green Time.”
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Sri R. K. Ramachandra Rao. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Ms. Supriya, who delivered an insightful and motivational lecture to the students.
In her address, Ms. Supriya emphasized the need to reduce excessive screen time and encouraged students to adopt a healthier lifestyle by connecting with nature. She highlighted the importance of moral values, respect towards society and elders, and the role of responsible behavior in personal development.
The programme was presided over by the Head of the Department, Smt. K. Sitamahalakshmi. Faculty members including S. Faryashroon, A. Ramakrishna, Ch. Ramarao, S. Rani, and Gargi actively participated in the event.
Students attended the programme enthusiastically and gained valuable insights on maintaining a balance between digital usage and real-life engagement.
The programme concluded successfully with active participation from both faculty and students.
