Former bureaucrat and motivational speaker Balalatha Mallavarapu has delivered a lecture on ‘Preparing for Civil Services’ for the students of Government College (A), Rajahmundry on October 24, 2024. She shared her own life experience of losing her legs at the age of 11 months due to reaction of polio drops and overcoming adversaries with the support of her parents. Balalatha had secured 399th rank in Civil Services but choose to coach the Civil Services aspirants. Students have listened to her with rapt attention and several of them decided to write Civil Services. On the occasion, a MoU was signed between the Government College (A), Rajahmundry and Balalatha’s institution for providing Civils coaching to the students. College Principal Dr. Ramachandra R.K., Vice Principal Dr. Ramamurthy, P. Babjee, Head of the Political Science Department, Dr. Sita Mahalakshmi, Lecturer in Political Science, Syed Farha Yasroon, Lecturer in Political Science and other faculty members and students were present.
